# Optional: Notifications (RIKAISO_MDM_NOTIFICATIONS)

**Contains**

1. Create an Alert Notification instance (plan standard) in your subaccount with a service key.
2. Enter the key's resource API URL as the destination URL and its client id and secret as user and password (BasicAuthentication; OAuth2ClientCredentials with the key's token URL works too).
3. In the Alert Notification service: a condition (for example event type starts with MDM.PROCESSING. and severity ERROR), an action (the channel), a subscription.

- What MDM sends: one event per finished job with its type, severity and tags (link `notification-events`); nothing while the destination is the template.
