> **Draft brief for authors.** Replace with the final text; keep the concept-page structure.

**Page type:** Concept · **Audience:** Administrator, Business user (Private Edition)

**Contains:** MDM identifies the release from the interfaces and reports it (the connection status, the assistant's capabilities); record numbers with leading zeros; 40-character material numbers; fields and operations a release lacks are refused with a message that names the system; columns that exist only on premise; your ZZ1_ and YY1_ fields; what is refused while the release is not identified (the first minutes after a destination change, a release MDM has not recorded); what is still unverified.
