# Uploading a File

> Upload a filled template or your own spreadsheet; the upload becomes a Task you can check before anything reaches SAP.

**Contains**

1. Upload File in Manage Master Data Objects; choose an .xlsx or .xml file (up to 18 MB, 50,000 rows).
2. The dialog while the file is read; the Task ID.
3. Outcomes: successful with the record count; findings to correct (nothing uploaded); failed; stopped.
4. The warning when the same file was uploaded within 24 hours.
