Supported Browsers and Devices

Minimum browser versions, device classes, and the support policy for the RIKAISO web client.

Support policy

RIKAISO supports the two most recent stable releases of each browser listed below. Older builds usually work but are not tested, and defects reported against them are fixed only in the current release line.

Devices

The web client is responsive from 360 px upward. Tablets in landscape use the full desktop layout. Phones use the compact layout, which hides the secondary navigation behind a drawer.

Requirements

  1. JavaScript and cookies must be enabled for the tenant domain.
  2. WebSocket connections to *.rikaiso.example must be permitted for live updates.
  3. Screen readers are tested with the current release of the platform default (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS).

Kiosk and embedded browsers based on outdated Chromium builds are not supported. Use the native container documented in the integration guide instead.
