Uploading a File

Upload a filled template or your own spreadsheet; the upload becomes a Task you can check before anything reaches SAP.

Draft brief for authors. Replace with the final text; keep the task-page structure.

Page type: Task · Audience: Editor and up

Contains

  1. Upload File in Manage Master Data Objects; choose an .xlsx or .xml file (up to 18 MB, 50,000 rows).
  2. The dialog while the file is read; the Task ID.
  3. Outcomes: successful with the record count; findings to correct (nothing uploaded); failed; stopped.
  4. The warning when the same file was uploaded within 24 hours.
  • Following the upload in Monitor Mass Changes; stopping an upload; what the upload changes in SAP: nothing.
