Undoing a Processed Change

A revert Task puts back the values a processed Task changed, built from the preview's stored values; today through an assistant or the API.

Draft brief for authors. Replace with the final text; keep the task-page structure. State clearly what is available in the apps and what only through an assistant.

Page type: Task · Audience: Processor

Contains: the revert Task needs the values from before the change (a preview before processing stores them); what it restores (field values; an SAP operation through its reverse action, for example Dismantle for Install); what it cannot restore (a deleted record, a create); the revert Task is a normal Task: check it, then process it; how to ask an assistant ("Undo Task …").
